An amalgamation of endless influence
At the latter end of June 2018, Breaking Bass records crew The Gardener, Stay Puft, SKLTSLKT, Digital Diogenes, Lorenzo Soria and Esteban Bove headed out to a remote farmhouse near Aznalcólar (a city close to Seville) with the intention of making experimental electronic music inspired by their Andalusian origins and way of life. In addition, they aspired to confront the marginalization of black, gypsy, Muslim and Jewish heritage in Andalusia and keep their histories alive in order to remember where they come from and help navigate where they are going. Surreal, mischievous and brimming with flamenco, dub, funk, hip hop, breaks and footwork inspiration, this truly is a unique collective dead set on creating sounds that find their way into your bones. A Breaking Bass collective
