Drake Bell of Drake & Josh fame began his career as an actor in the early 1990s at the age of five with his first TV appearance on the show Home Improvement. However, it was in the early 2000s that Bell developed his passion for music when he formed the band Drake 24/7 that eventually led to solo projects in the genres of pop rock and rockabilly.

Drake Bell's acting career was first launched on a major scale in 2004 when he was cast as Drake Parker alongside his best friend Josh Peck on the Nickelodeon series Drake & Josh. Fans of the show remembered their beloved character from the children's variety show The Amanda Show, which helped propel the show into a major success. Bell's acting on the show earned him three consecutive Blimp Awards at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite TV Actor."
During his time on the Nickelodeon show, Bell gained attention as a talented musician, creating the theme song for Drake & Josh which was titled "Found a Way." The song was featured on the soundtrack that was released in February of 2005, the same year he starred in one of the summer's blockbuster hits Yours, Mine and Ours. Other notable films include The Ultimate Spider-Man (2012), Superhero Movie (2008) and High Fidelity (2000).
In the fall of the same year, Bell released his debut album titled Telegraph. The album feature twelve songs that were all written by Drake Bell himself, apart from one, proving his artistic abilities as an actor as well as singer and songwriter.
Drake Bell musical career
Bell's musical history began back during his days on The Amanda Show where he played a character in a band named Drake 24/7. After co-writing and recording the theme song for Drake & Josh and subsequently releasing his first album, Bell released a second album in 2006 after signing with Universal Motown Records. The album, titled It's Only Time, debuted at No. 81 on the Billboard 200 and sold over 23,000 copies during its first week.
As part of the digital generation, Bell strategically released a video album in 2008, which featured Bell in concert and garnered critical success. Bell has continued to consistently release music, first with an EP in 2011 and a third studio album in 2014 titled Ready Steady Go!.
