Beginning his career as a DJ in South London, Giggs primarily played bashment, reggae and ragga, as well as having a radio station known as "Spare No One FM". Determined by his love of music, the creative artist focused on his music career and released a range of mixtapes including "Ard Bodied" (featuring Dubz), "Boomzville" and "Giggs 1 and 2 and 3", all of which sold more than 10,000 units and increased his presence. Launching his career forward, in 2007 "Talkin da Hardest" was released which showcased him performing over an instrumental version of the song "Here We Go" by Status Quo, which was first produced by Dr. Dre. Following its official release "Talkin da Hardest" was certified silver. In 2008 the renowned artist was nominated for the BET Awards for Best Hip Hop Act from the UK and went on to win the award, beating many of his peers who were more established at the time. The exceptional artist continued his success in 2010 at the Reading Festival, when he was featured on BBC Three and performed "Look What The Cat Dragged In" in his first TV appearance.
