Full of beans and with a voice that only gets higher as he gets funnier, award-winning comic Michael McIntyre is one of the brightest stars on the British stand-up circuit. Famed for his appearances on Live at the Apollo over a decade ago McIntyre has since become a staple of the UK comedy scene; hosting the Royal Variety Performance twice; selling a combined five million copies of his four stand-up DVDs; and becoming the world's biggest selling comedian in 2012.
Out to tour his latest material with shows all over the world, his aptly named Big World Tour sees McIntyre take over the top arenas around the globe in 2018, including huge dates at London's O2, Wembley and Museum of Comedy.

Michael McIntyre: one of UK's best and brightest comedians continues to go from strength to strength
McIntyre's big break came in 2007 after his hilarious performance on BBC One's Live at the Apollo. He performed on the programme twice more in the following two years, while appearing on UK panel and chat shows such as Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, Have I Got News for You, The Big Fat Quiz of the Year, Would I Lie To You?, The Apprentice: You're Fired!, Alan Carr: Chatty Man and Friday Night with Jonathan Ross.
McIntyre's popularity in Britain led to him hosting his own self-titled Comedy Roadshow on BBC One in 2009, while he also performed for live audiences of 500,000 on his first UK tour during the same year – which included a record-breaking six nights at Wembley Arena and four at The O2 Arena and a commercially successful DVD release: Live and Laughing. His hyper-bubbly personality and light-hearted brand of observational comedy made him the perfect (and youngest ever) host for the Royal Variety Performance in 2010 before he joined the ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent as a judge for the 2011 series.
McIntyre's 2012 UK tour included 71 arena dates, total audiences of over 700,000 people, and a record breaking 10 nights at the O2 Arena in London. The tour helped make McIntyre the world's biggest selling comedian in 2012, bringing in around £21m.
After presenting Comic Relief, several popular Christmas specials, and continuing with his own huge tours in the following years, it was announced in April 2016 that McIntyre would return to BBC 1 to present his own Big Show, a Saturday night entertainment series. It has proved hugely successful, with a second and third series following. Be sure to catch one of Britain's brightest stars at his peak – buy Michael McIntyre tickets today.
