Milwaukee Brewers Tickets
Milwaukee Brewers enjoy life in the NL
Few teams have moved around Major League Baseball as often as the Milwaukee Brewers, who have been relocated once, realigned four times and are one of only two major league clubs to switch leagues, and after twenty years in the National League, this team has two divisional banners to its credit. Milwaukee Brewers tickets are ready now to buy or sell via StubHub.
From Seattle Pilots to the 'Brew Crew'
The franchise began life in baseball as an expansion team called the Seattle Pilots, which was founded in 1969 and relocated to the city of Milwaukee a year later under new ownership, where it joined the West Division of the American League (AL). The team moved over to the AL East Division in 1972 and ten years later experienced its greatest accomplishment, defeating the Baltimore Orioles and the Los Angeles Angels, advancing to its only World Series appearance to date against the St. Louis Cardinals, which it lost in seven tough games. The owner of one of baseball's best records that season, the team ignited the American League, leading its fans to dub players the 'Brew Crew', an affection that has remained since. After 20 years in the East, the Brewers were again realigned in 1994, becoming part of the AL Central, where it remained for three short years before another major realignment in 1997 that resulted in the team switching leagues with the Houston Astros, becoming a member of the National League (NL). Milwaukee Brewer tickets are available now for purchase or sale via StubHub.
Milwaukee Brewers experience NL Central Division triumphs
The Brewers tasted play in the postseason thanks to a wild card entry in 2008 and in 2011, the team claimed its first NL divisional title, defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks but losing the NL Championship Series to St. Louis Cardinals. A second divisional title followed in 2018 after an exciting late season battle with Chicago Cubs, whom the Brewers defeated 3-1 in a tiebreaker to lift the divisional honours. The Brewers then swept past Colorado Rockies to advance to the NL Championship only to lose to Los Angeles Dodgers in another heart-breaking seven game series. The Brewers play their home games at Miller Park, which it has occupied since 2001, and counts several distinguished MLB MVPs among its past players, such as Robin Yount who won the coveted award in 1982 and 1989, Cy Young, winning pitchers like Rollie Fingers, and Pat Listach, who won the 1992 Rookie of the Year award. Yount and Paul Molitor are the only Hall of Famers to have spent their entire careers with the Brew Crew. Milwaukee Brewers tickets are ready not to buy or to sell via StubHub.
