The Temperance Movement Biography - Evoking the Sound of the 1970s
Full of bravado and teeming with authenticity, this fledgling band offer a burnished blues-rock sound that's poles apart from anything currently in the charts. Built around gravel-voiced Glaswegian vocalist Phil Campbell, the band boast the talents of Luke Potashnick - formerly of Rooster and Ben's Brother - and drummer Damon Wilson, who's hit the skins for everyone from Feeder to The Waterboys. Meanwhile, bassist Nick Fyffe made his name playing with funk-pop favourites Jamiroquai in the late '90s.
