Travis Scott Biography - Third Album Dues For Release This Summer

Born in Houston, Texas, Jacques Webster made his first steps into the music world aged 16 when he teamed up with friends Chris Holloway to form The Graduates. They would only release one EP before he moved on to another duo, The Classmates with OG Chess. This time he dropped two full-lengths, Buddy Rich and Cruis'n USA before the pair went their separate ways in 2011. It would only be upon meeting rapper T.I. and Kanye West that the artist's career really took off though - from working as an in-house producer for GOOD Music to releasing his debut mixtape Owl Pharaoh in 2013, featuring the likes of Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and earning a nomination at the BET Hip Hop Awards.

Rodeo followed in 2015 and featured guest appearances from Kanye West, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd amongst others, and two singles, '3500' and 'Antidote', achieved his greatest chart success to date. The album hit the number three spot in the Billboard 200 and was praised for bringing the trap sound into mainstream hip hop, using stylistic vocal filters and texture enhancing distortions. Next LP Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight arrived in July 2016 and there are already rumours of a fourth, Astroworld, well into production.
